ITG Recording Awards 2025/26
Sponsored by Pickett Blackburn
The ITG Recording Awards recognize outstanding trumpet recordings in two separate categories: classical and jazz/improvised music. Recordings are assessed via blind review by a jury of outstanding trumpet artists. Awards are given based on the artistic merit, technical achievement, innovation, potential for impact on the larger musical discipline, and the overall quality of an album. Read more about assessment criteria HERE. The jury will award up to 2 gold and 4 silver medals in each category. Recordings must have been released between January 1st, 2024 and December 31st, 2025.
