International Trumpet Guild Regional Conference in Varaždin, Croatia

Held in the beautiful city of Varaždin, Croatia, a UNESCO City of Music, the 2025 International Trumpet Guild Regional Conference brought together a wide array of artists, educators, students, and trumpet enthusiasts from across Europe and beyond.

Over several packed days, attendees enjoyed a full schedule of workshops, masterclasses, concerts, and a robust instrument exhibition.

Events took place in some of the most iconic cultural venues that the city of Varaždin has to offer, including the Varaždin Cathedral, the historic Croatian National Theatre, and the renowned Varaždin Music School. Each space added its own atmosphere and charm to the performances and sessions, creating a unique and immersive experience for all. The musical and cultural richness of the city was felt throughout, reinforcing its well-earned reputation as a hub of artistic excellence.

The conference was hosted locally by trumpet professor Tomislav Špoljar, whose leadership and vision were instrumental in bringing this ambitious project to life. On the ground, the organization was expertly managed by Tomislav Ratković and Marko Prepelić, whose tireless work ensured that everything ran smoothly—from logistics to artist coordination. Together with a dedicated team, they created a warm, welcoming environment that reflected the spirit of the ITG.

This event was held under the official banner of the International Trumpet Guild, and served as the final ITG event under the presidency of Ryan Gardner. With its inspiring performances, educational opportunities, and collaborative energy, the 2025 ITG Conference in Varaždin was a powerful conclusion to his term—an event that combined high-level artistry with true community spirit.
